eBay Sales FAQ's

I have things I want to sell. How do I get started?

If you have one item or several boxes, bring them to our shop during our normal business hours, or call us to schedule a time to bring them. If you have 100’s of items, then give us a call. We’ll set-up an appointment to look at your items and discuss options.

How long will it take to sell my item(s)?

It depends on the selling channel used. eBay auctions run for 7 days. We also run long-term eBay listings for some items. Instead of selling by bidding, these items are sold at a fixed price. eBay’s selling fees are slightly higher for this format, but our fee’s are the same.
The timing for other selling channels and for large quantities of items is dependent on several factors, but we can give you an estimate when we accept your items.

What if my item doesn’t sell?

You do not pay any fees if your item doesn’t sell. We will contact you to determine how to proceed – We may re-list your item; or you can pick it up; or we can dispose of it.

Can I set a minimum selling price for my item on eBay?

Yes. We start the auction at your minimum selling price if it has a reasonable chance of selling. Keep in mind that a low starting price generally increases bidding activity and frequently increases the final selling price.

When will I get my check?

Checks are mailed at the end of the month in which your item sells. When you drop your item off, we can give you an estimate of when it will be sold. You always get a statement showing the selling price of each item and a breakdown of our fees.

What are your fees?

We charge a commission plus our advertising and selling expenses.
